Brandeis student from New Jersey who has injured their wrist in the past. Their injury came from past rock climbing and volleyball incidents that have resulted in lasting pain and mobility problems. Due to their wrist injury and residual effects (such as pain), they struggle to open door knobs with their injured hand. The solutions they had found in their daily life have been using their other (non-dominant) hand, and preferring doors with levers or push operation.

(Dodgeball, volleyball, quadball) Has had 2 surgeries to prevent future dislocations of the shoulder. They don’t find door knobs too inconvenient, but agreed that push doors and handles were definitely preferable options.
Brandeis rugby player who injured their wrist over time while playing. They have not been to a doctor, but notice their injury getting worse when falling/tackling and catching. They have door knobs in their dorm, and will often use their non-dominant hand (not injured) to open doors to avoid pain.
