Swift Alert started as an idea to give Swifties more to engage with during the Eras Tour, and became a reality in 2023. As someone who was not part of the original team creating the app, being brought on has allowed me to learn the inner workings of app development and database management through practical experience. Since starting in October 2024, I have written numerous features such as an annonymous forum feature that is able to handle input from over 600,000 users reading and writing data from a database. At SharkNinja, I created a tailored web dashboard for app developers to efficiently manage and modify over 150 datapoints for connected devices using React Typescript. All data for the custom dashboard was pulled from a database using self built API methods to give developers a custom experience. The custom dashboard was designed specifically for the developers on the robot vacuum team, so I created features such as a live map view to allow users to see the precise location of the robot vacuum in real time. As a Theater Assistant, I provide technical assistance to any production or event taking place in the Shapiro Campus Center Theater at Brandeis University. In addition to operating technical equipment for hundreds of hours, I also train other students on the sound and light boards to ensure they have the required knowledge to work on a student theater production.
